Ideas: Storyboard for Beyond Genius

Beyond Genius: Storyboard

This is our new idea called Beyond Genius (due to our questionaire results this name seemed more favoured). This idea came up when we wanted a more feasible idea that would be decent to do, this was the best idea possible because it links in with the conventional college horror film. this idea is deffinatly feasible and able to do because we have the facilities and ators all we need to do is develop the idea more and make it more diverse which we are working.

Ideas: Storyboard for Split Awakening

Split Awakening: Storyboard

The pictures below are the story board for split awakening our first idea for out teaser trailer when spen time deciding on what scenes to do and how we will want them done, but sadly our idea was not feasible so we had to change everything and more or less start again. We learned from this mistake because although we put alot of work effort into it it was not exactly do-able we were put i some brilliant idea but maken them happen with the effect we want just couldnt work. We learnd that we have to work wihtin our limitations so things will be more feasible in the future.

Special Effects Man Session Part 2

Class Attempts At Making A Wound.

This is just a couple pictures pf my clases attempts of making our own wounds and flesh scars. We used the format or making a wounds in part 1 and also used pre-made wounds and adapted it for a more realality effect

Special Effects Man Session Part 1

Special Effects Man Session

During college we had a person who specialises in special effects and make up for films. He showed us how to make our own special effect like cuts, wounds, bullet holes and bruises. This help us because it shows us how to develop these effect and add it to our trailer making it unique to our final trailer production.
The pictures below show the brief session we had.

Process Of Making A Skin Wound.

In the pictures above this shows and gives your a brief instruction on the process in making a wound of your desire.
How to make a wound:

- Get a tile or something with a flat slip surface.

- Put a decent amount of clay (depending on what type of wound you want) on it and make it flat on the surface.

- Draw a circle around it so you can be sure not to go out of the circle.

- Use sculpting tools to create wound you want.

- Get a cup and pour 1/3 of water in it.

- Add plaster until it becomes thick.

- Pour plaster onto the clay on the tile make sure it gets every detail.

- Let it settle in for 2-3 hours.

- Now you should have a hard piece of plaster with your wound on the bottom

- Fill wound with liquid latex making sure you get every detail.

- flood the wound with liquid latex and let it dry out.

- Now peal the dried and stable liquid latex from the plaster.

- No paint to the colour of skin you would like to place it on.

And there you have it, your desired wound.

Questionnaire results

Questionnaire results in graph format

Analysis
Here are 20 carefully thought out questions composed into a questionnaire. We gave this questionnaire to 40 people asking them for their feed back to help us with ideas for our final horror Movie trailer. These question really got the audience involved because we ask the various questions which could actually take part in our horror trailer we even asked them to give us a name for the main character so that the audience feel apart of the Titanium Productions team in actually producing the trailer. although it is a small segment we got them involved.
We also ask for various other things which link to the trailer production for example question 6. do you think trailers should be fast paced of slow paced? this will tell us how fast the audience want to see the trailer. another example is question 9. Do you think to much blood and gore ruins a trailer? by asking this question we will know how to distribute the the amount of blood shown in our trailer so that we don't over do it.
so you can clearly see that our questionnaire is very important to the production of our trailer because it is aimed at the target audience and we have to show them that we have taken their decision into account so that we get noticed.
